Bobbi Wood Paintings – Bellingham Fine Art Photography
As a photographer, one of my most rewarding jobs is photographing work created by other artists. As we discuss how to render their work visually, I get a special window into their intent and inspiration. It’s like a VIP backstage pass to an art show.
In Bobbi’s work, I love how exuberantly she explores what is possible with color, pattern and texture. Her journey as a painter is young, which fosters an exciting freshness. This set of photos feature Bobbi’s drawings and acrylic paintings from Spring of 2012.

James and Cynthia – Bellingham Wedding Photography
James’ and Cynthia’s wedding on Chuckanut Mountain was a beautiful picture of their love for the forest, their community, and each other. I appreciated how the whole day told their story of simple faith, healing, and a new life together. Congratulations and thank you for sharing your wedding with me!

Peregrine Nelson – Bellingham Newborn Photography
This summer we had the joy of welcoming a new nephew, Peregrine Kenneth Emmanuel Nelson. So far we know that he loves sunshine and that he has the same wrinkles on his forehead as me. His name means wanderer or pilgrim.
Congratulations Andrew and Rachel!

Niki and Erik – Bellingham Wedding Photographer
Last month my wife and I had the pleasure of capturing the wedding of another Bellingham couple, Niki Metzger and Erik Favro. They had a beautiful ceremony at the Squalicum Boathouse on Zuanich Point. We especially appreciated how they crafted a meaningful wedding that reflected their unique quirks and personality (plus their love for the northwest).
You guys are great together! Thanks for sharing your day with us.

Zacharia and Victoria: December 31st, 2009!
This last Christmas break, I got to capture my sister in law’s wedding and New Years Eve reception/party. The weather was cold and rainy, which made the outdoor pictures an adventure, but we all survived! Zach and Tori were really relaxed, so I think that rubbed off on everybody else. I may be biased, but I think their reception was also the funnest I’ve ever been too. Congratulations on getting off to a great start!

Congrats Tori and Zach!
I had the privilege of taking engagement pictures for my sister-in law Victoria and her fiancé Zachariah. They’re a super goofy couple, which made doing photos extra fun. We decided to do the shoot last minute, so I used my 50mm 1.4 lens to make the most of the evening light.
