Colin and Rachel contacted me last minute to see if I could photograph their rehearsal dinner. Because Colin’s dad had been in a serious accident shortly beforehand, it was especially important to capture memories from the evening. I was glad to be available and hope these pictures do justice to a beautiful evening. Visit the main gallery here if you’d like to see more (just so you can see for yourself that Urban Light Studios actually has a wall covered in antique paint by numbers, and, among other things, a stuffed tiger).
After seeing her brother’s engagement pictures Julia and her fiancé Elliot decided to book an engagement session with me at Discovery Park. The weather was the warmest day so far this year, which made jumping in the ocean relatively comfortable. It was an honor to capture their quiet playful love for each other.
I shot Joe and Ashley’s engagement photos at Magnuson Park in Seattle. They are a really energetic (not to mention mushy!) couple and the weather was fantastic, so the shoot was really fun.
For their pictures, I spent a bit of time experimenting with new editing techniques in post-processing. I’d love feedback.
I had the privilege of taking engagement pictures for my sister-in law Victoria and her fiancé Zachariah. They’re a super goofy couple, which made doing photos extra fun. We decided to do the shoot last minute, so I used my 50mm 1.4 lens to make the most of the evening light.
