Artist Statement

Every person is a living story. As a photographer, it's an honor to share profoundly intimate moments back with those I photograph. Ultimately, my passion is to use my craft to capture your unique beauty, sense of adventure, and personal style.

Photography for me is as much a tool to help see the world with my natural eyes as it is about making extraordinary pictures. An image is the result of a relationship. It comes from exploring my environment, knowing people, playing with light, and uncovering beauty in the mundane. When this wonder gets squeezed into a 2D slice of time, a picture happens.

I have been creating images professionally for ten years. In addition to wedding and event photography, my background includes journalistic publicity, business portraiture, catalog and lifestyle product photography, digital retouching and image creation, nature macros, and landscapes.

Currently I'm based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and am available to travel within a day's drive of Seattle. I look forward to meeting you!
